MISS PHILIPPINE FIESTA 2011 RULES, REGULATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Miss Philippine Fiesta 2011 is open to all females 16-22 years old, of Filipino heritage, of good moral character, single (has never been married nor has ever given birth), and at least 5’2” tall. 

Applicants:

• Exemplify herself as a true Filipino woman.
• Should obey all rules and regulations of this pageant
• Participate, attend and be punctual in all the practices and schedules related to the pageant
• Should not enter in any other beauty contest during reign
• Should not engage in any activity that may conflict with respective duties as winner and runners up

1. Submit a headshot photo together with the application form.
2. The winners will be crowned at the Philippine Fiesta at the Meadowlands Exposition Center in Secaucus, New Jersey on Sunday, August 20, 2011.
3. All entries my be submitted to 124 East 40th Street, Suite 1004, New York, New York 10016 attention, Ms. Tet Palencia, Pageant Director no later than June 15, 2011.
4. The Miss Philippine Fiesta 2011 will receive $1,000 cash, a round trip ticket to the Philippines with a 4-night stay at the Astoria Plaza hotel in Ortigas, Metro Manila, crown, scepter, sash, trophy and bouquet.  The Miss Philippine Fiesta East Coast 2011 will receive $500 cash, a 3-4 day cruise to the Caribbean, scepter, crown, sash, trophy, bouquet.  Miss Philippine Fiesta Faith 2011 will receive $500 cash, crown, sash, trophy, bouquet.  Miss Philippine Fiesta Hope 2011 will receive $300 cash, crown, sash, trophy, bouquet.  Miss Philippine Fiesta Charity 2011 will receive $200 cash, crown, sash, trophy, bouquet.  In the event that the “Miss Philippine Fiesta Charity 2011” goes to the top 4, an alternate title of Miss Philippine Fiesta Trade Ambassador will be given to the 5th place winner.
5. The winners will be featured at the Santacruzan event of the Philippine Fiesta 2012 on Sunday, August 2012 at the Meadowlands Exposition Center in Secaucus, New Jersey and will be featured in a full page full color page within the Philippine Fiesta Magazine, the official publication of the Philippine Fiesta 2012.  The winners will also ride on the Philippine Fiesta float for the Philippine Independence Day Parade in New York City (this will be at the discretion of the Philippine Fiesta).
6. Registration is free.
7. Finalists will be presented at the Philippine Fiesta People’s Ball which will be held on Friday, August 19, 2011 at the Sheraton Meadowlands Hotel and Conference Center, East Rutherford, New Jersey.  Each finalist is required to invite at least 10 guests (1 table) to the People’s Ball and bring at least 10 full page advertisements for the Philippine Fiesta People’s Ball souvenir journal.
8. Talent competition will be presented at the Philippine Fiesta People’s Ball which will be held on Friday, August 19, 2011 at the Sheraton Meadowlands Hotel and Conference Center, East Rutherford, New Jersey. 
9. [ CORRECTION: Each finalist must sell at least 100 general admission tickets for the Philippine Fiesta 2011 at $20 each. Commission for the sale of each ticket is $4 ] .  The candidate reserves the right to donate the ticket commission to a charitable organization or to any endeavor of her choice.  VIP tickets at $60 each.  Commission for the sale of this ticket is $5.
