“The Bayanihan Club of Union Singers” consists of adult and young members and supporters of the Bayanihan Club of Union. Although the Bayanihan organization was founded over a decade ago, the singing group has been in existence a relatively short time. Under the tutelage of Erwin Argonza, a self taught musician, the chorale was formed to provide hymns at the annual mass celebrating the Philippine Independence Day in the township of Union, the annual Simbang Gabi at St. Michael’s Church and Holy Spirit Church in Union and the annual Bayanihan Christmas Celebration. Additional choral credits include the Union Township’s Bicentennial Heritage Day Celebration (2007), the Bayanihan Induction Ball (2008), the Simbang Gabi Sa Katedral Cultural presentation (2008), and Nurses Appreciation Nite celebrating the National Nurses Week (2009).
