Nina Sophia Waga Mojares is from Freehold, NJ. She is the daughter of Dennis and Jeanette Mojares. Nina will be starting 5th grade this September. She maintains an A+ average and ranks 1% of the Scholastic Aptitude Test in the whole entire nation.
Nina is what they call a “triple threat” - she sings, plays the piano and does latin ballroom dancing. Among her accomplishments, Nina has recently won 1st place at the Filipino Heritage Festival Idol Contest 2009. She and her partner, Gabriel Basalatan also won 1st place at one of the largest latin ballroom competition, the MAC in New York City and at the Filipino Heritage Festival Dance Contest 2009.
