Miss Philippine Fiesta 2009 Quest
1) Submit a headshot photo and a video where you will speak your thoughts why you are joining the contest. Talk about yourself. Please include a full shot of yourself on the video also. The video must not be over 3 minutes.
2) Candidates will be notified of the preliminary judging.
3) Selection of 5 finalists will be done on Saturday, August 15, 2009 at the PHILIPPINE FIESTA at the Meadowlands Exposition Center, Secaucus, NJ. Final selection will be on Sunday, August 16th, same venue.
4) All entries must be submitted to 124 East 40th Street, Suite 1004, New York, NY 10016 attention Mr. Erno Hornillosa, Pageant Director not later than April 30, 2009.
5) Crown, sashes, bouquet, trophies and a round trip ticket to the Philippines will be awarded to the winning MISS PHILIPPINE FIESTA 2009 and a 3-4 day cruise to Caribbean for the winning MISS TEEN PHILIPPINE FIESTA and the MISS PHILIPPINE FIESTA TRADE AMBASSADOR plus publicity within the leading Filipino newspapers and gifts from sponsors.
Sashes, bouquets, trophies will be awarded to the next 3 (three) winners, MISS PHILIPPINE FIESTA 2009-LUZON-VISAYAS-MINDANAO, plus gifts from sponsors.
6) The winners will be featured at the Santacruzan event of the PHILIPPINE FIESTA 2010 on Sunday, August 2010 at the Meadowlands Convention Center in Secaucus, NJ and will be featured in a FULL PAGE FULL COLOR PAGE within the PHILIPPINE FIESTA MAGAZINE, the official publication of the PHILIPPINE FIESTA 2009. The winners will also ride on the PHILIPPINE FIESTA float for the Philippine Independence Day Parade in New York City.
7) Candidate must be endorsed by an association or organization within the Filipino American community. Registration is free.
8) Finalists will be presented at the Philippine Fiesta People’s Ball on Saturday, August 8, 2009 at the Sheraton Meadowlands, East Rutherford, New Jersey. Each finalist is required to invite at least 20 guests (2 tables) to the People’s Ball and bring in at least 10 full page advertisements for the Philippine Fiesta People’s Ball souvenir journal.
9) Each finalist must sell at least 100 general admission tickets for the Philippine Fiesta 2009 at $18 each. Commission for the sale of each ticket is $3. The candidate reserves the right to donate the ticket commission to a charitable organization or to any endevour of her choice.
